Competition Sparring

Competitive sparring is an exciting and dynamic aspect of the Sundo program, combining athleticism with strategic skill. In this competitive format, athletes face off in a controlled environment, using a combination of kicks, punches, and footwork to score points. The emphasis on agility, speed, and precision makes taekwondo's olympic style sparring not only a test of physical ability but also a showcase of mental strategy and quick decision-making. At Sundo, through our experienced instructors, we offer specialized training in olympic style sparring for students of all skill levels. Our experienced instructors focus on developing essential techniques, sparring tactics, and conditioning to prepare students for competition. We foster a supportive environment where athletes can learn, practice, and refine their skills while encouraging sportsmanship and respect for opponents. Our students are offered the opportunity to participate in local, state, regional, and national competitions.
